How to Hold a Fire Show
I asked Annica how they held the fire show every year. This certainly looks like something my son would LOVE to do (he is eleven). This is what she said:
We have decided that the lowest age handling fire is 16-years-old, which is class 9 in the swedish school system ( where the children start school at 7 years old) and the older classes 10,11 and 12 or 17, 18 and 19-years-old.
The man who had responsibility for the show was Christopher Sivertsen. He is traveling around the world working with different groups and helping them preform. He is a professional actor educated in physic theatre. His e-mail is chrisivert@gmail.com
Uppsala waldorfschool does a fireshow every year with different themes. We use our skilled teachers at school and invite different artists to participate.
There are some performance pictures from this year's fireshow at the website of the local newspaper:

To find the article scroll down and click the icon saying ( in swedish) kulturnatten ibilder. When you enter the pictures they are pictures 25 - 37 that belong to the waldorfschool´s fireshow. Good luck to find your way at the swedish website.
In November - when it is Saint Martin the older children arrange 1000 ( pitch) torch around a small river close to the school. Then the younger children take their lanterns and walk in the dark nature just lighted up by the torch.
